Is Pioneer really free forever?
Yes. 30 valuations per month, Pilot mode, 4 attributes. No card required. New accounts also get 14 days of full Premier first. When it ends you stay on Pioneer, free forever. Upgrade only when you outgrow it.
Do I get a free trial?
Every new account starts with 14 days of Premier: Playground, Analytics, and our tightest ±5% bands. Free, no card. When the 14 days end you drop to Pioneer (free forever) unless you subscribe. No charge either way.
Can I cancel or downgrade any time?
Cancel anytime. Monthly plans end at the close of the current billing period. No retention hoops.
How accurate are the price bands?
The more attributes you fill, the tighter the band. ±20% at Pioneer, ±10% at Professional, ±5% at Premier with full detail. The midpoint comes from our pricing engine. The band is what we stand behind.
What happens if my stone's attributes don't fit known rules?
The valuator checks every entry against the species taxonomy and ~500 dependency rules before pricing. If something is impossible (origin–treatment pair, color–clarity pair, etc.), you get a flag instead of a number. We'd rather decline than estimate.
What if I don't agree with a price?
On Professional and Premier you can flag any saved valuation. Our team reviews it by hand and replies in your dashboard, no back-and-forth email.
What's the difference between Pilot, Panel, and Playground?
All three use the same pricing engine. Pilot is a quick 3-step wizard with 4 attributes. It is free on every tier. Panel is a fuller form that adds more attributes. It is available on Professional and Premier. Playground is a visual builder that shows how each attribute changes the price. It is available on Premier only. Your tier sets how many attributes you can use. The more you fill, the tighter the price band.
Do you offer API access for jewelers, dealers, or auction platforms?
Yes, Enterprise plans include REST API access, custom integration (webhooks, batch valuations), and dedicated support. Volume-based pricing tailored to your query volume. Reach out via the Contact page.
Can I share valuations with clients?
Yes, on every plan including the free Pioneer tier. Each valuation gets a public link your client can open. Professional and Premier can also manage and revoke their links.
